Recap: Week 5 Marathon Training

This past week I fit in three runs since the previous week I took time to recover after my 18 mile race. I fit in two runs at the gym on Tuesday and Thursday along with a long distance run this past Saturday. All three of my runs felt really good especially the one from this Saturday. Fall is finally here and the weather outside is perfect for running conditions. I’m almost a month away from the race and feel ready and excited for the weeks ahead! Below, I included a break down of last week’s workouts:

Monday: Rest

Tuesday: Run 8 Miles (Treadmill) Strength 3 X 12 Assisted pull ups, 2 X 60 Sec planks, 3 X 12 Push ups

Wednesday: Rest

Thursday: Run 6 Miles (Treadmill) Strength 3 X 60 Sec planks, 3 X 12 Pull ups

Friday: Rest

Saturday: Run 13 Miles (Outdoors)
