Welcome to The Urban Mile! I’m Carissa Rea and my mission is to share my favorite New York City running paths, exercise routines and inspirational tips to enhance your fitness journey. I moved to the city six years ago and since then completed college and began my career in marketing within the beauty industry. I’m currently training for the New York City Marathon along with other races to prepare for the full 26.2 miles! Running brings unspeakable joy to my life that I want to spread to others through my writing.
